GYMNASTICS CLASSES
For girls ages 5 to 12
Our girl’s gymnastics program consists of 50 minutes of instruction on four different gymnastics events including bars, balance beam, floor, and trampoline/vault. A rotation schedule is set allowing students to rotate to two of the four stations listed above. We offer beginning through advanced levels of gymnastics training in a progressive environment, thus allowing students to advance at their own individual rate.
1 weekly class is $100 a month
2 weekly classes are $190 a month
3 weekly classes are $270 a month
Division 1
50 minute class
Division 1 is our first level in recreational gymnastics at DGC. In these classes our students work on the fundamentals of beginner gymnastics skills. Some skills that are taught in D1 are a forward roll, cartwheel, bridge, swinging on the bar, and confidence on the beam.
Division 2
50 minute class
Division 2 is second level in recreational gymnastics at DGC. In these classes our students work on perfecting their beginner gymnastics. Some skills that are mastered in D2 are a forward roll, cartwheel, bridge, rolls on the bar & beam!
Division 3
50 minute class
Division 3 is our third level in recreational gymnastics at DGC. In these classes our students are starting to work on more intermediate gymnastics. Some skills that are taught in D3 are, 1 handed cartwheel, bridge kicker, pullover the bar, handstands on the floor & beam!
Division 4
50 minute class
Division 4 is our fourth level in recreational gymnastics at DGC. In these classes our students are mastering intermediate gymnastics. Some skills that are taught in D4 are, round-offs, back walkovers, back hip circles on the bars, and cartwheels on the beam!
Division 5
50 minute class
Division 5 is our second highest level in recreational gymnastics at DGC. In these classes our students are beginning to learn advanced gymnastics. Some skills that are taught in D5 are, back handsprings, connected tumbling, back hip circles on the high bars, and back walkovers on the beam!
Division 6
50 minute class
Division 6 is our highest level of recreational gymnastics at DGC. These athletes are working very advanced skills that are more customized to the student.
