Our History

At Douglasville Gymnastics and Cheerleading, our journey began in 1987 with a single vision: to inspire and develop young athletes through the art of gymnastics. Our facility started with just a handful of students and a dream at a local park. Over the years, our commitment to excellence and passion for the sport has fueled our growth, allowing us to expand our recreational and competitive programs.

By 2002, DGC had become a community staple, known for our premium instruction and fun environment. Our focus on gymnastics, tumbling, and cheerleading  has enabled us to cater to athletes of all abilities, from recreational beginners to successful advanced competitors.

Today, DGC has a diverse range of programs, and a team of experienced coaches dedicated to fostering the physical and personal development of our students. As we look to the future, we remain committed to upholding our values of integrity, discipline, and teamwork. Ensuring every student who walks through our doors has the opportunity to reach their full potential in both athleticism and in life.
